A collection of inspirational stuff, that tickles my funny bone, makes me happy, makes me think, makes me horny etc...
In other words these are all mak-nificent to me.

Sometimes you see something and you think, WOW I wish I could do this/made this. Like this one; the giant pinball for Mountain Dew. It’s like skating in wonderland!

To launch three new flavours of Mountain Dew in New Zealand, Auckland’s Colenso BBDO, along with specialist designers, BMX riders and skateboarders, have helped to create a giant pinball machine-shaped skate park. The skateable pinball machine is 600 square feet and contains 40 foot backboards, sensors, sound flippers, lights and an LED screen - with the skateboarders representing the pinballs. The park was built in only 17 days and cost a whopping $500,000 to create. The difficult task of ensuring that lighting, sounds and scoring could work in unison as skaters traversed the park, was handed to Automation Associates, and it was successfully achieved.

Yeaaah It’s time to be creative again! I just love campaigns like this one.
“Absolut Blank”, the new campaign from Absolut Vodka, gives you the change to design a Absolut vodka bottle . The only thing you have to do is download the app and be creative.  Go to the campaigns website en get started!

Another lateral idea that is taking a current use such as the swipe bar on the iphone and adapting it to a winding race track, as a marketing tool for Audi. It allows consumers to interact with the brand as they can play around the track and when they reach the finish line, the ad will then open an app for Audi IPad magazine. A very clever way of driving traffic (excuse the PUN) to Audi’s website.

Audi iPad Ad Turns ‘Slide to Unlock’ Into a Long, Curving Racetrack Another clever rethink of the featureBy Tim Nudd
An Iphone ad that toys around is a bit more playful. It’s from Audi and AlmapBBDO in Brazil, and it reimagines “Click to Unlock” as a winding racetrack. For users who play along and circle the track, the ad opens an app for Audi’s iPad magazine. Simple and clever.

Pencilheads” a nice idea for the German political magazine Cicero magazine. Just love the craftsmanship and the simplicity of the idea.

“The block project”, a really nice campagne for Scrabble by Ogilvy & Mathers Paris.

Ice-cream company Frederick’s has launched an amphibious ice-cream van to give the British a yummy treat wherever they may be. A Winston Churchill paraphrase on the side of the truck reads, “We will lick them on the beaches.” Frederick’s might consider removing that. I guess you could say the vehicle puts a whole new spin on making an “ice-cream float.” Ha ha! That’s a wholly original bit of wordplay. (OK, everyone else thought of it first. Jerks.) It’s the perfect ride for a Fudgie the Whale watch! Swimmers, remember to wait 30 minutes to go back in the water after eating a caramel-coated double-fudge parfait. The van floats, but you might not be so lucky. Making-of video after the jump.

“Breakfast interrupted” by advertising agency Marlin Network. The artistic advertising group was commissioned by Marlin Network to create a promo of sorts for their annual breakfast event happening this weekend. The promotional material they made was a quick, just-over-a-minute video entitled “Breakfast Interrupted,” based on the title of the event itself. As you will see, a lovely, delectable looking breakfast gets interrupted and deconstructed in slow motion. The video looks beautiful and is a whole lot more than just watching a big breakfast get thrown around. It’s fun, it gets the point across, and it makes you want to attend Marlin Network’s event!

“Knullträdet” a really nice commercial for a Condom brand. It’s simply beautiful. Visit their site to calculates how many people you’ve had sex with if you count your partners previous partners and so on. The aim is to make people aware of the aids and HIV. Really nice !

Really neat stop motion  by MTV brazil. They used 600 balloons per minute & the shoot took about 24 hours, so u do the counting . Impressive !
